St John runs the Kupiano hospital Gaire clinic in central.  There is an ambulance which is based at the Kupiano hospital.

St John’s Blind Service runs an eye screening programme in schools in the province and refers children in need of further support to relevant health facilities. The Blood Service also runs in the province - organising blood donation, testing and distribution to relevant hospitals and is saving hundreds of lives.
