Students Delighted with St John First Aid Training

At a recent public event, our staff heard from two graduates of the St John basic emergency first aid training course. Meet Sil Namora, a third-year Political Science student, and Geita Taviri, a fourth-year Biological Science student at the University of Papua New Guinea.

St John Ambulance Crew Supporting Fire Service

The St John Ambulance Control Centre received a call to a Fire/Explosion along Gabaka Street yesterday at 1:07 pm.
Four ambulance units with five ambulance officers and a paramedic were sent to the scene of the fire as soon as the call was received.

Emergency Medical Standby

A special operation team has been set up by the St John Ambulance and Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH) to provide emergency medical service during the world leaders’ visit in the coming days.
